Engineered Surfaces Technologies Toolbox

Engineered Surfaces Description and Function
ES10/20 Topographical Modification Process:
Provides some wear and friction reduction in poor lubrication.

ES30 Topographical Modification Process:
Provides some wear and friction reduction in poor lubrication, increases fatigue life.

ES200 Low friction, moderately hard coating.
Provides scuffing and fretting protection to sliding contacts, and fatigue enhancement to rolling contacts.

ES300 Moderate friction, hard coating.
Provides limited scuffing protection, abrasion resistance, and superior fatigue life enhancements to rolling contacts.

ES400 Moderate friction, very hard coating.
Provides superior abrasion resistance and fatigue life enhancements to rolling contacts.

ES 500
Moderate friction, hard coating.
Provides wear protection to rotating seal surfaces, compatible with fleuroelastmers (e.g. Viton, PTFE, etc.).
