The Timken Company's Scholarship Program for sons and daughters of associates celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2008. The Timken Company Educational Fund has invested more than $16 million in over 430 scholarship winners and alternates during that time.
Throughout those 50 years, the scholarship program has evolved. In 2010, a new scholarship program that better reflects The Timken Company was established.
In order to embrace Timken's position as a global company, the new program combined the pre-existing U.S. and International Scholarship Programs into one. In addition, more scholarships are now offered.
