V-Seals can be used on an eccentric or slightly misaligned shaft. Made entirely of rubber, V-Seals are extremely easy to mount and can be slipped over the shaft and mounted against the counterface. Desirable for retrofitting, V-Seals can be stretched over a flange during assembly.

V-Seals are simple, versatile, elastomeric "face-type" seals produced in nitrile or Viton®. Timken's V-Seals can be the primary sealing element in an application, a contaminant excluder or a back-up seal.

• Nitrile - Temperature Range: -40 to 225 F.
• Viton (Flouroelastomer) - For high temperature and/or aggressive mediums. Temperature Range: -30 to 325 F. (Dynamic Application) -50 to 50 F. (Static Application)
• V-Seals are also available in neoprene, silicone, polyacrylate and other elastomers to meet a variety of application requirements.
